Brochures and postcards have their place, but targeted marketing has moved into HTML. In order to move forward, agencies need to break their old print-design habits by rethinking how their customers view their messaging and how they will act on it. 18 - 22 year olds expect well crafted and designed messaging on their phones, tables, laptops and desktops. As designers and marketers, we need to satisfy the expectations of a more technologically saavy user. Email campaign managers like MailChimp, Constant Contact and Campaign Monitor store personally identifiable information securely, keep companies in compliance with anti-spam laws and regulations and allow multiple team members to work together on campaigns.
